    Dual-shaft Scrap Metal Grinder

    Huichuan TD/TDH series double shaft scrap metal grinder is a heavy-duty shredding solution specially designed for various metal solid wastes and hard-to-shred metallic materials.
     
    Available in two drive versions — TD for motor drive and TDH for hydraulic drive — the series covers a motor power range from 60kW to 400kW, delivering robust power and exceptional operational stability. It integrates advanced heavy-duty shredding technologies including spline bearing seat and stress internalization decomposition cutting chamber, ensuring reliable performance in metal recycling applications.
     
    Equipped with high-strength and high-toughness alloy steel blades, it features outstanding wear resistance and long service life. Core electrical components are sourced from well-known brands such as Siemens, Wannan Motor and other reliable suppliers.

    Equipment Features

    Shredding Method

    Shearing-type shredding, capable of processing both flexible and rigid materials, as well as tangled rope-like materials (proven by application cases), featuring low noise and low dust emission.

    Blade Material

    High-wear-resistant NiCrMo alloy steel, with wear-resistant material overlay-welded on the cutting edges of the blades. This design delivers excellent surface wear resistance while maintaining strong impact resistance of the blade core to prevent blade breakage.

    Blade Installation Method

    Both the inner bore of the blade and the spindle surface adopt a hexagonal design, ensuring excellent torque transmission and enabling quick blade assembly and disassembly.

    Spindle

    High-strength spindle manufactured from quenched and tempered 42CrMo alloy steel, with precision grinding processing.

    Sealing Method

    Five-layer sealing protection design for bearings, providing effective dust and water resistance, extending bearing service life, and enabling normal operation in high-dust and open-air environments.

    Overload Protection

    Siemens PLC monitors the entire operation process of the equipment in real time. When the equipment is overloaded, it automatically stops, reverses to unload, and automatically restarts to resume normal shredding once unloading is completed.

Its core advantages lie in deep volume reduction, liberating material components, optimizing subsequent separation efficiency, while significantly reducing scrap transportation costs, providing key support for the metal recycling process. Its working principle is realized through three-stage precise processing:Upper Crushing Stage: The breakers in the upper part of the equipment's chamber first crush the material powerfully until the material size is reduced to the range that can enter the "gap between the milling rings and chamber liners", completing the initial rough processing.Middle Grinding and Rolling Stage: The material entering the gap is then subjected to "impact + grinding + rolling" combined processing by the milling rings, and finally converted into uniform fragments with high cleanliness, removing impurities and ensuring material consistency.Lower Discharge Stage: When the crushed material reaches the preset fineness, it will naturally agglomerate into balls and fall into the lower chamber, and the finished product is discharged quickly and stably by the discharge paddles. The final product of this equipment has two major characteristics: "high cleanliness" and "high bulk density", which is fully suitable for the subsequent transportation and recycling processing needs.
