The Chinese Little New Year 2025
The Chinese Little New Year, also known as "Xiao Nian," is a significant celebration that marks the beginning of the preparations for the upcoming Lunar New Year. In 2025, this festive occasion will be observed on January 29th, and it is a time when families come together to clean their homes, make offerings to their ancestors, and prepare for the joyous celebrations ahead. This article will explore the traditions, customs, and significance of the Little New Year, as well as how it is celebrated across different regions in China.

Allegedly
The ancient Chinese celebrated the Chinese New Year
There are three types: official, civilian, and ship
That is to say, on the 23rd day of the twelfth lunar month, the government celebrates the Chinese New Year
People celebrate the Chinese New Year on the 24th day of the twelfth lunar month
Water households, fishermen, etc
It's the 25th day of the twelfth lunar month, which marks the end of the Chinese New Year
Why is it divided in this way
Because before the Song Dynasty, the north was mostly a political center
Deeply influenced by official culture
So people choose to celebrate the Chinese New Year on the 23rd day of the twelfth lunar month
And the south is far away from the political center
Xiaonian is on the 24th day of the twelfth lunar month
Along the banks of Poyang Lake and other areas, there are customs of preserving old boatmen
Xiaonian chooses to celebrate on the 25th day of the twelfth lunar month
Actually
No matter what day Xiaonian is
People bid farewell to the old and welcome the new
The desire for reunion is the same for all
Looking forward to the joyous Chinese New Year

Offering sacrifices to the Kitchen God and eating Kitchen Candy

About the customs of Xiaonian
How much do you know?
Sacrificial Kitchen King
Farewell to the old and welcome the new, busy with the new year
Wipe the windows, sweep the floor, and clean the stove
Send the Kitchen God to heaven
Many beautiful words welcome good luck

Folk legends
Every year on the 23rd day of the twelfth lunar month
The Kitchen God wants to ascend to the Jade Emperor
Report the good and evil of this family
Let the Jade Emperor reward and punish
Therefore, when delivering the stove
People often stand in front of the Kitchen God statue
Arrange sweet melons
This type of food is sweet and sticky
The Kitchen God took care of the food but couldn't say anything
My mouth is stuck behind the sky
No need to say right or wrong

Eating stove candy
Master Zao, you go to heaven
I ate a candy plate in my mouth
No need to speak in front of the Jade Emperor
Returning to our home to celebrate the New Year
There are rice, noodles, and clothes to wear
With the changing times
The color of superstition gradually fades away
But what was left behind
But people
Expectations for a better life

Eating dumplings in the north
Delicious and juicy
Eating rice cake in the south
Soft and Glutinous Muscle Path
Chinese people who love eating all their lives

After the 'Kitchen Sacrifice'
Starting from the 23rd day of the twelfth lunar month and ending on New Year's Eve every year
It is called "Welcoming Spring Day" or "Sweeping Dust Day"
Every household needs a thorough cleaning
A thorough cleaning is not just for
Welcome the arrival of the new year cleanly
More importantly, for
Eliminate all "bad luck," "misfortune," and "mold
Everyone was swept out of the house

Do you feel like you're almost there?
That's right

It's also a small New Year's custom

The Chinese Little New Year in 2025 promises to be a vibrant and meaningful celebration, filled with traditions that honor the past while looking forward to the future. As families prepare their homes, cook delicious meals, and participate in time-honored rituals, they embody the spirit of renewal and hope that this festival represents. Whether through cleaning, cooking, or gathering together, the Little New Year is a testament to the enduring values of family, tradition, and the anticipation of new beginnings. As the Lunar New Year approaches, the Little New Year sets the stage for a season of joy, prosperity, and togetherness.
The little year has arrived, and the New year is not far away
The way home for the wanderers has also become closer
Year by year, year by year
The most beautiful thing is reunion
May all the beauty come true
They all arrived as scheduled

🔥《BREAKING! HUICHUAN’s "Waste-to-Treasure" End-of-Life Vehicle Line Launches in Serbia 》
The end-of-life vehicle (ELV) dismantling plant operated by HUICHUAN Technology in Serbia achieves the "turning waste into treasure" of ELVs through the full-chain technology of "crushing-conveying-sorting", with a processing capacity of 7-8 tons per hour. Its core technologies include: Dual-shaft shear crushing: High-strength alloy cutters handle hard materials such as vehicle frames and engines, while intelligent overload protection ensures continuous operation; Hybrid conveying system: Chain conveyors handle heavy metals, and belt conveyors manage lightweight plastics to prevent blockages; Precise Automotive Shredder Residue (ASR) sorting: Integrating inductive metal detection + permanent magnetic separation + eddy current separation + air separation, it recovers 98% of steel, 95% of non-ferrous metals, and 90% of plastics from ASR, solving the traditional challenges in ASR treatment. The project not only addresses the environmental issue of ELV accumulation in Serbia but also drives the local "green economy" through resource recycling, becoming a circular economy benchmark under the global carbon peaking goal.
Aiming at the challenge of efficiently separating non-ferrous metals (copper, aluminum, silver, etc.) from electronic waste, household appliance waste, and end-of-life vehicle waste, this study systematically verified the performance of HUICHUAN Eddy Current Separator ECS series, featuring a radial multi-layer magnetic structure roller (high-frequency 32-pole + eccentric design + double-layer magnetic system), in the "screening classification-eddy current separation" collaborative process. The 20kg mixed samples provided by Japan Environmental Recycling Co., Ltd. were used for experiments. Results showed that the radial multi-layer magnetic structure increased the radial repulsion distances of aluminum, copper, and silver by 20.30%, 9.04%, and 7.46% respectively, with the radial repulsion distance difference between copper and aluminum increased by 132.42% and the eddy current force fluctuation coefficient reduced by 88.43%. Combined with screening pretreatment, the copper recovery rate from electronic waste reached 96.8% (purity 90.2%), aluminum recovery rate 95.5% (purity 89.1%); the aluminum purity from household appliance waste increased to 89.7%, and the separation efficiency of copper and silver from vehicle waste improved by 22%. This study confirms that the radial multi-layer magnetic structure breaks the bottleneck of traditional magnetic rollers with "low separation efficiency among different non-ferrous metals" by enhancing magnetic field gradient and stability, providing technical support for one-stop recovery of high-value metals from multi-source waste.
HUICHUAN 2025 Recycled Aluminum Industry Summit
Recently, 29 leading figures from the recycled aluminum industry from 12 countries and regions including Mexico, Indonesia, India, South Korea, Japan, Thailand and the Middle East gathered at Huichuan Heavy Industry to participate in a three-day factory tour, exhibition of research and development achievements in recycled materials, and industry trend seminar. This event marks that Huichuan Heavy Industry is reshaping the global aluminum resource recycling pattern through technology export and contributing Chinese wisdom to the "dual carbon" goals.
